WHY WE EXIST

Our vision is "Growing Hearts in Jesus." What this means is that we believe that every person that is part of Immanuel Bible Church should have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and be transformed in a personal relationship with Him. We believe this happens in three ways:



INVITING

Our desire is to be a church on a mission to reach out to the community around us. We believe we are a "refueling station," not the destination. With that in mind, we want to be a people who invite others in a relationship with Jesus and also grow in Him.



CONNECTING

We believe that God calls every believer into fellowship. We are commanded to encourage one another, pray for one another, and love one another. We believe this is best accomplished through small groups and fellowship studies that meet throughout the week.



SERVING

Every believer has been gifted by God to give Him glory. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we believe everyone in community has the opportunity to serve the Lord in some way. Our leadership desires to equip you and help you discover God's purpose for your life.

Joe Suozzo

Senior Pastor

Pastor Joe has been serving with Immanuel Bible Church since 2004 with his wonderful wife Dianne and two beautiful daughters, Anna Marie (26) and Danielle (24). Previously they served 10 years in India church planting. Pastor Joe has his BA from Moody Bible Institute and MA from Columbia Biblical Seminary. He enjoys his family, hiking, classical guitar and of course teaching the word of God at IBC!

Mike Tapia

Pastor

Pastor Mike has been attending IBC since 1999 and has been serving as one its Pastors for the last 7 years. He lives in Jackson, NJ with Linda his amazing wife of 26 years. They have one son, Mike (25) and three lovely daughters, Sharon (23), Ana (17) and Kailey (13). Pastor Mike holds a Masters of Theological studies from Southwestern Bible Theological Seminary and loves serving and teaching the Word of God. When free, he can be found spending time with his family.

Mike Heard

Pastor

Pastor Mike has been attending IBC since 1999 and has been serving as one its Pastors for the last 10 years. He lives in Brick, NJ with Debbie his amazing wife of 31 years. They have two sons, Mike (29) and Matt (27). Mike has been working as a lay elder while working as a project manager for Trevcon construction. He loves the word of God and enjoys overseeing our small group ministry with a goal to see those within IBC discipled for God's glory
